In this three-day course, students learn the full process of creating the overall floral design for a wedding. Students begin with creating storyboards and proposals for mock clients. They will then purchase florals materials, create a mockup for the event’s designs, and present to the “client.” This is a great opportunity for students to learn event production with specific client requests, budgets, and, of course, flowers. This course is taught by a Wedding Design & Floral Expert that gives students the tools to complete this large-scale project followed by open studio time to create proposals, purchase flowers, develop designs, and finally give a presentation. This course is the culmination of the classroom portion of the six-week Floral Design Program and acts as a “final project” as each student designs their own wedding look from concept to presentation over three days.

In teams students will select their mock wedding profile to begin visioning the specifics of this event with a story board.

This will provide students the opportunity to create and bring to fruition their unique vision and style for a specific wedding.
Day Three: Student Presentations (10:30am – 4:00pm)
After a hard day of production and proposal writing, on the last day each group will present their vision and concept for their individual wedding to the client, Meredith.
