About this Event

Step into an intimate evening of French culinary tradition, seasonal cooking, and thoughtfully paired wines in this immersive, hands-on experience. Guided by award-winning Chef Fernanda Tapia, guests will explore classic French technique through a distinctly New England lens, celebrating winter’s finest local ingredients with elegance and intention.

Chef Tapia learneda timeless French preparation directly from the legendary Jacques Pépin himself. Known for her warm, approachable teaching style and deep technical expertise, Chef Tapia will lead participants through every stage of crafting this showstopping dish—an impressive centerpiece worthy of any festive table.

You’ll learn essential techniques, create a richly seasoned seasonal filling, and master the precision of stuffing and trussing. The class also includes the preparation of a vegetable side dish that highlights the best of New England’s winter harvest. Through a balance of demonstration and hands-on participation, you’ll leave with practical skills, confidence, and inspiration to recreate the dish at home.

With just eight participants, this class offers a rare opportunity for close observation, personalized guidance, and meaningful conversation with the chef throughout the evening.

The experience concludes around the table, where guests will enjoy the beautifully prepared meal together, paired with carefully selected wines and lively discussion. This refined yet welcoming evening brings together French culinary heritage, regional seasonality, and the creative energy of one of Boston’s most compelling chefs.
