DetailsThe locals believe that some of the caves in Ratchaburi and Petchaburi are the gates to the mythical township that’s called Lapland town, people from the mythical town are all beautiful and never seem to age, and people who went there and return home will be reward with ultimate wealth and lucks. That’s the reason why local people hold the caves as the sacred gate. We normally found buddha images or the mythical holy statues around the caves.
About these 3 caves:
These 3 caves are located in 2 provinces, around 100 km apart. Local believes that these are the gateway to the mythical land. A few people claimed that on the national tv news that they got lost around the cave and found the gate, where they met a lot of beautiful people. They once find themselves again in another province 60km away from their home.
Today, these 3 caves are decorated with holy cloth (3 color cloth) and buddha images.
