Satish is a percussionist with performances both in India and Abroad. He started his tutelage in MridangamThavilGhatamKhanjira and Morsing under the watchful eyes of the renowned guru Shri T. S. Nandakumar. He’s pursuing advanced training in mridangam from Kalaimamani Shri K.V.Prasad. He’s completed his B. A. in Music (Mridangam) from Annamalai University Chidambaram and MA from Thanjavur University.
Bharatanatyam presentation by Uma Satyanarayana
Uma Sathyanarayan is a Chennai-based multi-faceted Bharatanatyam artiste. She represents a particular thought process as envisioned practiced and performed by Bharatanatyam exponent Guru Chitra Visweswaran. She is also a musician composing music for dance and a theatre practitioner.
With a performance career over the globe that spans over two decades Uma’s art has earned her the Kerala Sangeet Natak Academy Award and the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Pursaskar by the Central Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi.
