Who is Arts for Learning WNY?
Arts for Learning WNY is the leading provider of arts integrated learning opportunities for young people in the region, whose mission is to inspire, expand learning, and strengthen the community through engagement with the arts.
For over 60 years, Arts for Learning has presented education programs in all artistic disciplines to more than 3 million children and families in all 8 counties of Western New York. The organization serves as a reliable connector between artists and organizations to provide high-quality education opportunities. The professional Teaching Artists on our roster develop integrated arts learning experiences that address Next Generation Learning Standards and curriculum in all subject areas. The organization has been at the forefront of arts instruction in Western New York, sharing learned expertise with educators and artists and supporting programs for youth most in need. 90% of our long-term residencies served students attending Title 1 schools, 88% of the youth served came from historically underrepresented communities, and more than 45% of our work was done in geographically remote communities.
