Mar 19, 2025—Join us for our live sound baths, 6-7pm on Wednesdays at First Unitarian Church, Worcester, MA. Yoga mats/blankets provided, feel free to bring notebooks, journals or B.Y.O.Blankets!!
Our shows offer a sound bath journey like none other, creating an immersive world of sound healing instruments, rhythms, guided sequences, and sounds of nature. In our case, we’re doing things with a very modern twist. It’s all done electrically. Everything’s designed in house, played live on a keyboard. Among traditional sound healing styles, we utilize many kinds of styles and techniques found in global music, reggae, dub reggae, and jazz. Our shows also feature a kind of guided sequence, and are like light, relaxing tours of nature, very much inspired by our favorite nature documentary show, BBC’s “Planet Earth.” Our goal is to be a space that’s creative, restorative, and replenishing during the week, to help foster a sense of spaciousness, time for ourselves and for reflection.
We aim to be a source of creativity and somatic healing in the lives of others, to share the tools that have worked for us on the path, and to help form a bridge between ancient and modern ideas. Sound healing has worked wonders for us, we hope it can do the same for you.
Our Sound Baths hosted by Ethan of Upward Sound Culture. Ethan is a certified in multi-instrument sound healer from SHA International, and is a musician based out of Worcester, MA. He loves yoga, sound baths, experimental music and the works of Sharon Salzberg, Jon Kabat Zinn, among so many others..
