Step back in time with Cave Wall Creations, inspired by The First Drawing. Children will create their own cave-style drawings filled with animals and symbols, exploring how early people told stories through art. This project connects to the Native American Gallery’s rock art and animal paintings throughout, encouraging families to see how storytelling through images spans centuries.2nd Saturdays for Families are designed for children ages 5-12, and feature an enchanting read-out-loud experience and art activity thoughtfully designed for young readers and budding artists! Each session features a hands-on project inspired by the story and a carefully selected book aligned with our exhibits or monthly theme.
