You're Invited to the 2026 2nd Saturday Hotrods and Hounds People's Choice Car Show!
Join us as we kick off the spring season with the debut of Hotrods & Hounds, featuring a classic car show in the public parking lot on West Solomon Street, across from the Post Office. Throughout downtown, participating businesses will offer dog-themed activities, sidewalk specials, live music, and in-store promotions to keep you entertained.

📍 Location: City Parking Lot on West Solomon Street, Downtown Griffin
⏰ Car Show Begins: 11:00 p.m.
🏆 Awards Ceremony: 2:30 p.m.
🚘 Vehicle Entry Information
- Open to all show cars, trucks, and motorcycles
- Restored Vehicles 25 years and older are especially encouraged
- Entry Fee: $20 per vehicle
- Each registered vehicle will receive a $10 food/drink voucher redeemable at participating Downtown Griffin locations on the night of the event.
- A portion of the entry fee will go to provide school supplies to Griffin-Spalding students through the Back To School Bash held on July 24, 2026, a free community event hosted by the City of Griffin Police Department and Griffin Fire-Rescue. Participants should arrive by 10:00 a.m. to park within the road closure before the show kicks off.

- Location: Register online or in person at Historic City Hall, 201 East Solomon Street
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Payment Methods: Online, exact cash, or check payable to Griffin Downtown Council
- Note: Registration is first-come, first-served — don’t wait!
