Get creative at the Haggin! 2nd Saturday events are designed for children ages 5-12, and feature an enchanting read-out-loud experience and art activity thoughtfully designed for young readers and budding artists! Each session features a hands-on project inspired by the story and a carefully selected book aligned with our exhibits or monthly theme. Reservations are not required, but seating is available on a first come-first served basis. Materials and activities are included with regular museum admission. 2nd Saturday programs are from 1 – 2:30 pm.Cultivate your inner artist by transforming everyday items into sculptures inspired by artists Louise Nevelson and Betye Saar. This art activity is paired with Meg Auchenbach’s If You Are an Artist.
