This is for kids that will be in 2nd grade NEXT school year.I called and booked a home school field trip for May 22, 2023 8:45 am-1:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break at Safety City in Knoxville. It is only for second graders and it is free. Details and their website are listed below. We will need a group of a least 10 kids. I have 2 so the group will need at least 8 more. Would any parents be interested? I will be making an event for it next month. I have to let them know how many kids will be coming in January.
Safety City is a project of the Knoxville Police Department and is a place that provides early education for elementary school children about vehicular, pedestrian, bicycle and fire safety. Safety City features child-size setting buildings complete with paved streets and sidewalks, working traffic signals and traffic signs. Children are able to practice and demonstrate their safety skills in participatory activities.
