All proceeds from the Sweaty YETI Charger Dash benefit Charger Athletics and Youth Challenge in their mission to connect young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers who support each other and grow together through adapted sports, recreation, the arts, and leadership activities. Start Times:
Registration and Packet Pick-Up: 7:30am
5K/1 Mile events start time: 9:00am
Awards ceremony: ~10:00am
Distances: 5K (run, walk, or roll), 1 Mile (run, walk, or roll)
*jogging strollers, hand cycles, and wheelchairs welcome! We ask everyone, please just be considerate of other runners around you.
Timing: 5K- chip timing; 1 Mile - untimed
Registration:
Race-day registration begins at 7:30am inside The Garrity Center (gymnasium)
Fees:
Register by 12pm on April 1: $25
Register from April 2 – May 1: $30
After May 1: $35
* Kids under the age of 7 are FREE
All registered participants age 7 and older will receive a Sweaty YETI t-shirt.
FAMILY DISCOUNT: 10% discount for registrations of 4 or more runners in a family
Early Packet Pickup:
Friday, May 29, from 2:30 – 4pm @ SMS school parking lot, 265 Baker, Berea
Friday, May 29 from 5-7pm @ Fr. Garrity Center
Awards:
Top Male and Female overall
Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over
What You Get:
Race t-shirt guaranteed through May 1 (sizes are subject to availability after May 1)
YETI plush toy for kids in grades 8 and younger.
Post-race refreshments
Pancake Breakfast for all participants AFTER the Dash at The Garrity Center.
