About the Saint John Seafarers Mission
The Saint John Seafarers Mission provides a sanctuary for mariners who spend months at sea. In 2024 we welcomed nearly 1,000 seafarers at our facility at 92 Tilley Lane and visited a further 98 ships to provide hospitality and comfort to seafarers who remained on board ships.
One seafarer shared how comforting it was to finally be somewhere that wasn’t moving as he relaxed into one of our big, comfy leather couches. We offer a warm welcome, essential services like Wi-Fi, and, most importantly, a stable place to rest and connect with loved ones.
