2nd Annual Newark Fitness Festival

Join us for the 2nd Annual Newark Fitness Festival — a citywide celebration of wellness, movement, and community empowerment hosted across five of Newark’s most iconic downtown parks. Whether you're dancing in Harriet Tubman Square, biking through Lincoln Park, flowing through yoga at Military Park, or rowing along the Passaic River, there’s something for every body and every level.

This year’s lineup features dynamic fitness instructors, cultural dance sessions, family-friendly activities, and powerful community wellness moments. Come for one class or stay for the full day — it’s all FREE and open to the public!

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Fitness Boxing with Femme X Boxing
• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Children’s Obstacle Challenge with Lauren Vivenzio Borawski
• 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Yoga & Meditation with I’m So Yoga

• 8:00 AM – QCycling Community Bike Ride (20 miles)
• 11:00 AM – Tai Chi with Kazi Idnallah

• 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Pickleball Clinics with USA Pickleball Association
• 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Adult Rowing Classes with Brick City Rowing
• 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Purpose Runners 6K (coordinated by Flavio)
