Who is this event for?
Both Black and Veteran Community Members & Supporters (i.e. Chicagoans, Supplier Diversity Program Hosts, Black Veteran Owned Businesses, Media Outlets, and more).
Why is there an entry fee?
The entry fee supports operational costs such as funding the pitch competition and prizes for the Father's Day/Juneteenth Cookoff Competition.
Are there any free tickets?
Yes, attendees who register and apply for volunteered positions receive free entry. Veterans also receive free tickets.
Are there speaking opportunities?
Yes, we allow relevant workshops and panels. Please apply when you register.
Are there vendor opportunities available?
Yes, tables start at $150.00. Once the venues are paid, all remaining funds are distributed towards the pitch competition to support three Black Veteran Owned Businesses (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners).
Are there any advertising opportunities?
Yes, Businesses seeking to advertise must offer complimentary products and services to attendees valued at $100+.
How do we sign up for the Dad Duel and are women allowed to participate?
Yes, the Dad Duel is in honor of Father's Day. Women are still allowed to compete nonetheless.
How do we sign up for the pitch competition?
At checkout you will be asked whether you'd like to participate. Please select yes and further instructions will be sent to you via email.
