Now in its 28th year, the French Film Festival in Manila continues to be the capital’s annual rendezvous for cinephiles seeking bold, diverse, and thought-provoking cinema. This year’s edition celebrates a landmark moment in Franco-Filipino collaboration, following the Co-Production Agreement signed at Cannes last May.
Anchored in the spirit of cultural exchange, the 2025 festival spotlights new French releases, animations, and co-produced films that bridge continents and perspectives. It also builds on last year’s feminist cinema focus, amplifying stories by and about women from both nations.
A highlight of this edition is the Co-Production Conference, which brings together French and Filipino film professionals for dialogue, networking, and B2B meetings—laying the groundwork for future cinematic partnerships across Europe and Asia.
