Carol was born and bred in Leith and loves her beautiful city she calls home. Art runs through her veins - DNA inherited from her Grandad and Dad, both James Watson. Her Grandad was influenced by Salvador Dali and had an extensive body of work.
As a child, Carol illustrated CD covers for her meditation series "Rainbow Path" (founded 2004) and created sketches for her book series "Magic Carpet Journey in New Eden".
For over a decade, Carol has attended Community Education Art Classes, learning from her tutor Steven Hill. She began with portraiture in charcoal and pastel, gradually expanding into watercolour, acrylic, and ink pen, experimenting with landscapes and other imagery.
Carol is an impressionist artist with a deep love for Claude Monet and other impressionism masters. Her spirituality, connection to spirit and light, and love of the animal and nature kingdoms strongly influence her work.
Artwork is available for purchase, with part payment/lay-by options available for larger pieces.
