It’s a colorful, magical, winter-wonderland tea party at the 26th Annual Teddy Bear Tea, where snowflakes and twinkle lights hover overhead, sugar plum fairies sparkle nearby, and bears of all shapes and sizes share in the joys of the season with you and your family.
Held annually the first weekend in December, Teddy Bear Tea has been a tradition for over 20 years, gathering the community together during the holidays and raising much-needed funds for our nonprofit organization.
Guests share in a scrumptious tea-time buffet with variety of savories, sandwiches and sweet treats (courtesy of Sunrise Bistro & Catering). You’ll also enjoy a visit to “Bearland” for a festive photo opportunity, plus fun with the sugar plum fairy.
Kids can wear their “fancy dress,” practice party etiquette and drink real (decaffeinated) tea or juice in china cups. Enter our raffle for a chance to win fun prizes, and purchase items from the Holiday Boutique. And all kids take home party favors.
While all ages are welcome, this event is recommended for children ages three to nine. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Tables seat 10 guests, and table assignments are made in advance by The Gardens staff. When ordering tickets, attendees may request to sit at specific tables with friends and accommodations will be made if possible. Tickets are non-refundable.
The annual Teddy Bear Tea event is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors and many volunteers. Proceeds support the education and garden programs at The Gardens at Heather Farm.
