Join us on Thursday, March 5th from 1pm - 4:30pm
At this year's condensed conference, we will engage in an afternoon of dialogue, learning and connection. Together, we will explore the importance of building an inclusive community - one that embraces diversity, encourages openness and fosters an environment where everyone can grow and thrive.
We are excited to share that this year's condensed format will feature a keynote address from Dr. Kwame McKenzie, an award-winning mental health expert whose work centers on creating real-world impact in communities. Dr. McKenzie is one of the Chairs of the Ontario Black Health Plan, is the CEO of the Wellesley Institute, a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, and the Director of Health Equity at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
The afternoon will include:
- Interactive group activities
- Sessions led by our Black Student Success Network, an Indigenous Elder and others
- A panel of current students who will share their experiences and perspectives on the importance of a vibrant and supportive post-secondary community
- And more!
Stay tuned for full conference details.
