Garden Talk-Vegetable Gardening-Good Practices from Soil to Seed to Sustenance
Host: Jesse Boland
Info: How do you make sure your soil works for you? When should I plant those tomatoes? Sowing seeds or planting seedlings-which is better? Is there a perfect garden layout? When do I know THAT vegetable is ripe? Garden pests and fertilizing—what are good management techniques? What’s the best mulch? You won’t get an in-depth analysis of your own garden, but North Fulton County Young Farmer Educator, Jesse Boland, and Master Gardener Extension Volunteer and avid home gardener, George Scesney, will walk you through the basics of producing a successful 2026 vegetable gardening effort. Stay for an extended and engaging Q&A session. Please register for this Garden Talk at Eventbrite. Its free, but we want to know you are coming. We'll have a few door prizes and seed packets.
