About this Event
Directed and co-written by Academy Award winner Alfonso Cuarón, it stars Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal as teenage best friends who meet an older Spanish woman, played by María Verdú, and journey together through rural Mexico to a secluded beach. Roger Ebert wrote, “Yes, it’s about two teenage boys and an impulsive journey with an older woman that involves sexual discoveries. But it is also about the two Mexicos. And it is about the fragility of life and the finality of death.”
