Working hard, rushing around with back pain and in need of self-care time?
We bring the chill to you with a specially-designed, lunch-time workplace yoga session hosted at Foundry by Kasia from Yoga Chill Zone.
Based on Hatha Yoga style, this open-level class will be based on a slow-paced, calming movement synchronised with the breath, promoting mindfulness and relaxation, and focusing on the areas of the body most commonly affected by a desk job like stiffness in the neck and shoulders, lower back pain, tight hips and wrists.
You will be encouraged to explore your mind and body connection with awareness-building guided meditation and simple breathing exercises. The practice will be inclusive and variations for poses will be offered.
Please bring your comfy clothes and an exercise/yoga matt if you have one as we have only a limited number of matts available - let’s chill out
