24th Annual Pasadena Police Department Car Show
On behalf of the Pasadena Police Department (PPD), We would like to ask for your support for the 24th Pasadena Police Car Show to be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026. Every year the PPD hosts the Car Show to raise funds for the Police Explorer Program and the Pasadena Police Activities League (PAL). Both programs are registered non-profit organizations.
The Pasadena Police Explorer program is geared toward young men and women between the ages of 14-21 who have an interest in law enforcement. All participants in the program undergo physical training and complete a brief academy where they learn the customs and courtesies of our profession. The program also provides participants with an opportunity to work with members of the Pasadena Police Department and their community. The goal of the Police Explorer Program is to help guide its participants as they work toward a career in law enforcement. In fact, several of our police officers were once police explorers!
The Pasadena PAL program was established in the summer of 1999 and has served over 3,500 Pasadena youth with its athletic, art, after-school and summer educational programs. The Pasadena PAL program emphasizes the importance of building positive relationships between the youth of Pasadena and the city’s police officers. A foundation of strong values, teamwork, honesty, and personal accountability is part of what we teach kids through this vital youth program. The Pasadena PAL Center offers a safe place for children after school and during summer break. It provides educational enrichment and opportunities to participate in various activities such as golf lessons, swimming, boxing, as well as a plethora of other life experiences some of the participants would otherwise not have.
We would not be able to maintain these programs if not for the generous contributions provided from outstanding members of the community such as you. Your kind donation of sundries, goodie bag gifts and raffle prizes as well as monetary contributions will help to offset the event expenses, generating greater funds to these programs for future generations to come
