Let's Spring into action!!! Get those WIPs out!From Friday, April 17th, 10am until Sunday, April 19th at 6pm, we will be stitching like crazy in the large meeting room at the Hyatt in Verona, WI.
Details:
$50 for at least half of a 6' table. I will always try and give people their own tables (unless you WANT to share with someone), but depending on demand, we might have to share.
We are a very low-key event. We don't have vendors or special classes, but we have good lighting, room to work, a freebie table to deposit and take from, and a WHOLE DANG WEEKEND of nothing else to worry about except stitching with new friends, laughing a lot, and learning the most ridiculous things. 🙂
Due to how wonderfully fun it always is, we will also be playing LCR again. Let's just assume that this is a staple for 2026 and you should always bring 7 skeins of floss to play 🙂 (14 if you want to play twice.)
Payment required to secure your spot. Full refund before April 1st. After Jan 1st, full refund if I can fill your spot from the waiting list. Last day to sign up is April 13th.

You are in charge of booking your own room.
Email Nicole Conway at [email protected] to get the room rate for our group of $129/night. This includes parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. Mention you are with Not So Serious Stitchers, or give her my name, Marissa McConnell.
There are outlets in the room for task lights and other things. I will bring extra extension cords and power strips in case we need them, although the lighting in the room is pretty good.
You are on your own for food, and you are responsible for all beverages. There is NOT a fridge in the stitching room, but the hotel rooms have them. There are lots of nearby restaurant options for going out or delivery. There are several within walking distance just up the hill. There is also a small cooler of food at the restaurant bar that has salads and wraps.
Please dress in layers or bring hoodies/fans if you tend to run hot or cold. It's hard to keep a room full of people temperature happy. You know you best.
We will also have a Free Table for you to bring all the Stitchy stuff you have that just doesn't do it for you anymore. Just take home what doesn't get taken by someone else.
