September 2022 findet die letzte große Teileröffnung im Humboldt Forum statt: Die Sammlungspräsentationen des Ethnologischen Museums und des Museums für Asiatische Kunst der Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin sind mit rund 20.000 Exponaten auf 16.000 Quadratmetern dann vollständig erlebbar. Die Ausstellungen des Humboldt Forums wären ohne einen langjährigen Austausch und gute Verbindungen mit zahlreichen internationalen Kooperationspartner*innen so nicht möglich gewesen. Daher stehen diese bei der finalen Eröffnung im Mittelpunkt. Die Eröffnung des Ostflügels feiert das Humboldt Forum mit einem 24-stündigen Programm mit Konzerten, Diskussionen, Performances und Clubnacht. Nach diesem besonderen Eröffnungsformat ist im Humboldt Forum ALLES OFFEN.

On 17 September 2022, the opening of the last large section takes place in the Humboldt Forum.
The exhibitions of collections of the Ethnologisches Museum und Museum für Asiatische Kunst of the Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin can then be experienced in full with around 20,000 exhibits over 16,000 square metres. The exhibitions in the Humboldt Forum would not have been possible without many years of cooperation and good connections with numerous international collaboration partners. These are therefore the focus of the final opening. The Humboldt Forum celebrates the opening of the East Wing with a 24-hour programme of concerts, discussions, performances and a club night.
