FOLCASTDaniele Folcarelli – aka Folcast – was born in Rome in 1992 into a family of musicians. He began teaching himself to play the piano, bass and drums, before choosing the guitar as his lifelong companion, studying it until graduating from the Licinio Refice Conservatory in Frosinone.
Alongside his academic studies, he founded his own artistic project with the aim of mixing funk, R&B, soul and rap, and began writing songs.
In 2020, he met Tommaso Colliva, which led to the creation of “Scopriti”, a song that took Folcast to the Sanremo Giovani winners‘ circle and to the 2021 Sanremo Festival, where he came third in the New Proposals category.
