Throughout the last few months, Beaver Rivalry has been heating up the stream. Our polyglamorous Lodge and contestants will gather on June 6th in Duke Park to celebrate friendly pageant rivalry, fierce love of wetlands, and our deep admiration of Canada’s original lumberjacks.

Some tips for attendees:
--Check the weather forecast for the day of the event and come prepared with protection from heat, rain, or other elements.
--Bring something to sit on such as a towel, blanket, camp chair, etc.
--We'll have a Locopops stand and food trucks on site but feel free to bring additional refreshments. The event usually concludes at around 7, which is a great time to get dinner at a nearby Durm business.
--While the event is free to attend, there'll be opportunities to buy votes, bribe judges, purchase event merch, and more, so you may want to have some cash on hand.
--Consider carpooling with friends if you're coming from a distance that isn't walkable or driveable; just be considerate of the neighbors of Duke Park when parking.
--We know that a lot of attendees like to arrive early, so we have pre-show entertainment starting at 4: music by Maxine Eloi and poetry by Poetry Fox.
--The event is a great chance to wear fun, shiny attire--let your light shine!
