21+ Charity Comedy Underground @ The Grog to benefit Our Neighbor's Table!

Join us for a hilarious night of comedy at The Grog Restaurant in Newburyport, MA! This in-person event promises to be a laughter-filled extravaganza, all for a great cause. Our Neighbor's Table will benefit from the proceeds of the evening, so you can feel good about having a great time. Our comedians perform all over New England and are ready to give you a night full of laughter! Your comedians for the evening are:

Host, Mark Moccia. Mark is the founder of Moccia Comedy Productions and loves giving back to the community. In just a little over 1 year, Moccia Comedy Productions has already (as of this writing) raised nearly $49,000 for local charities from Maine to Boston!

Headliner, Maya Manion. Maya grew up in Vermont but moved to Rhode Island to break into show business. Maya was featured on Nick at Night's Funniest Mom in America and recently was runner up in Mohegan Sun's Funniest Comic in New England. Maya travels as far as she can go in a night to perform, because no one will watch her kids for longer than that.

Featuring:

Ben Chadwick. Ben Chadwick started as an open mic comic in Austin, TX. After moving to Maine, he became a regular in the Portland scene and has been a repeat performer in the Portland Maine Comedy Festival, Bricks and Bridges Fest and finalist in the New England’s Funniest Comedian competition for the last two years.

Kaile Krenzer. Kaile is an up and coming comedian from Nottingham NH. Currently a student at UNH, Kaile has already made a name for herself performing at Mohegan Sun and all over the seacoast.

Ian MacDonald. Growing up in Auburn, ME, Ian now spends his Winters, Springs, Summers, and Falls in Brunswick, ME. Ian was a contestant in The River Comics’ Maine’s Wicked Funny Laugh Off Contest 2021, finalist in Maine Event Comedy’s Tightest Five Competition, performed at the Bricks & Bridges Comedy Fest 2021, Portland Maine Comedy Festival 2022, third place finalist in New England’s Funniest Comedian Competition 2022, and was a regular performer at Empire Comedy Club, including the Make ME Laugh game show. His Mom will tell you he’s been doing comedy his entire life. Others may tell you his life is absurd. Specifically, Camus. To quote Ian, himself, from his upcoming book: “I like to hit things with sticks.” And, “I didn’t know what a River Comic was, but I knew I had to be one.”
