About the event:UPMC Children's Hospital Child Advocacy Center's Annual Child Maltreatment Conference is the premier event in Southwestern Pennsylvania. This multidisciplinary training offers interactive instruction for professionals committed to fighting crimes against children and supporting their healing journey.
At the Child Advocacy Center at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, our mission is to protect children and promote healthy families. We pursue this mission by upholding the highest standards in the assessment of child maltreatment and the medical care of vulnerable children. Our work is strengthened through daily collaboration with other child protection professionals.
This year, we are proud to present the 20th Annual Pittsburgh Conference on Child Maltreatment. This multidisciplinary event will bring together hundreds of child protection professionals for workshops and plenary sessions led by experts in medicine, law, child welfare, victim advocacy, and law enforcement. Attendees can earn approximately 11 continuing education credits through sessions taught by nationally recognized leaders in the field.
