Help make this the best tournament yet! #cooperbmemorialIn early 2007, we found out we were expecting our first baby. Our excitement quickly turned to nervousness of the unknown when a few months into the pregnancy we were notified that our first born had Down Syndrome. We searched frantically trying to understand what this meant, often getting frustrated with the lack of direction and resources we were finding. Unfortunately, we were never able to experience the blessing of having our beautiful son, as he passed away just over a week before his due date.
We named our angel, Cooper, and since then, along with help from many friends & local businesses, we have put on a charity golf tournament in his honor to benefit the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation (UDSF). We have specifically asked that the donations we raise be used to provide education & resources to parents expecting or have recently had a baby with Down Syndrome.
Since 2007, Cooper's tournament has raised nearly $350,000 to benefit the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation. We are looking for golf participants, hole sponsors, and donations. Help us achieve our goal of having a hole sponsor on every hole! The first 19 years have been amazing! Let's make year 20 one for the record books & blow away all the previous years.
