Step into a visual timeline celebrating the WCU Fine Art Museum’s 20th Anniversary through a dynamic exhibition of decades of contemporary art. Tracing its roots in the Belk and Chelsea Galleries, the show highlights the Museum’s early focus on studio glass and women artists and its evolving commitment to contemporary Native American voices. Visitors will encounter artwork from every chapter of the Museum’s history, reflecting the people, places, and priorities that shaped its collection. The exhibition also marks the Museum’s national accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums—an honor shared by only a select group of university museums—inviting you to experience the legacy and future of art at Western Carolina University.Museum Hours:
The WCU Fine Art Museum exhibitions and events are free and open to the public. Standard Museum hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10AM-4PM, and Thursday, 10AM-7PM. If you have any questions, please call (828)227-ARTS.
