Join us for our seventh annual 2030 Vision Climate Convergence: Resilient Roots, Joyful Shoots! We'll gather again at the Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris for two days of knowledge sharing, inspiration, and movement building. Each convergence brings together engaging workshops, roundtable discussions, and plenary presentations, as well as great food, music, and art to energize us for the work ahead. We design the convergence to be inclusive and interactive, celebrating and engaging the collective wisdom of all who attend.Details and registration here: https://www.ecologybasedeconomy.org/2030vision
We're pleased to announce that Keith Carson will be joining us as our Friday Keynote! Keith joined Maine Conservation Voters after a nearly 20-year career in broadcasting, most recently on News Center Maine. He works to broaden the group of people who are interested in making positive changes for the earth, even if they are motivated by different reasons. His methods to achieve this are a little unorthodox and often riddled with humor. Keith's keynote will highlight communication strategies that work when it comes to climate solutions, as well as ways in which our movement can improve our messaging.
We're thrilled to announce that Rhiannon Hampson will be joining us as our Saturday keynote! Rhiannon is a dairy and livestock farmer, lifelong rabble rouser, and occasional bureaucrat. She brings decades of advocacy experience to her work as Vice President for Economic Development at Gulf of Maine Research Institute. Her topic of choice? Room at the Table: Finding common ground and community across the divide.
On Friday evening, we'll be treated to a performance of Alex Tatarsky's Dirt Trip, a show exploring the fertile terrain between clowning and composting. “Gross and essential” – Savannah Reich, Cannonball
