The Windjammer Polar Plunge returns on February 28, 2026, at The Windjammer on Isle of Palms, bringing together community members for a fun and meaningful day in support of Special Olympics South Carolina.This annual event raises critical funds for athlete programs across the state, with 100% of proceeds directly benefiting more than 30,700 children and adults with intellectual disabilities through year-round sports training and competition.
Participants can register as individuals or form a team to take the plunge into the Atlantic. Each plunger is required to raise a minimum of $50 to participate and will receive an official event T-shirt.
Event Schedule:
• Check-In & Live Music – 11:00 a.m.
• Costume Contest & Awards – 12:00 p.m.
• Plunge – 12:30 p.m.
• Post-Plunge Party – 12:30–1:30 p.m.
