We have 8 teams confirmed this year! With teams and players from across the Midwest. Captains are all on this event, and some rosters are still filling in, so if you’re interested in playing, comment here and they will see!
Skill level equivalent to 3-3.5 level in HockeyFinder.
General Hockey Agenda:
- Friday Social: Mini-Game Round Robin
- Saturday Friendly: Sigle-Elim Tournament
Each team is guaranteed the equivalent of 5 games over 2 days.
Teams will have between 10-15 skaters and a goalie, captains discretion.
Round Robin: On Friday night, each team will play six 15min run time mini-games - facing every other team but one. Seeding for the bracket is based on total goal differential over the six mini games (not wins, or record, just goals!).
Bracket Tournament: 8 team single elimination bracket, including 3rd, 5th and 7th place games. Each team is guaranteed 3 games.
Cost: We do not take any profit from this tournament. Cost for ice, refs, etc is totaled and divided evenly across 4 teams. Cost per team is $1,163, so cost per skater will depend on the amount of skaters on each roster. Each team is guaranteed six mini games and 3 regulation tournament games over 2 days.
