Mark your Calendars! The 2026 WHAM Judged Trail Ride will be held Saturday April, 25th at OREA - Ortonville Recreation Equestrian Association. This is an ALL BREED EVENT!!!The Walking Horse Association of Michigan invites you to
participate in our Fundraiser All Breed Judged Trail Ride
A marked trail ride of approximately five miles will contain ten obstacles for you to navigate: testing horsemanship skills, trail safety knowledge, and the attitude and willingness of your horse. Points will be awarded at each obstacle and the person with the highest points wins.
When: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Registration & Check-in: Begins at 9:00am. No horses on the trails until 10:00am.
Judging 10:00 am. – 2:00 pm. All score cards must be turned in by 2:30 pm.
Potluck Lunch 1pm-3pm Please bring a dish to pass (No electricity available)
Awards ceremony will be at 3:00.

Cost: $30 for WHAM Members before April 10th
$35 for non-members before April 10th No-Refunds
$50 Cash Only for Day of Registration
Prizes: Overall high score, Reserve overall,
Division high scores, Ribbons for 1st - 6th place

Non-campers MUST park in the day use parking lot.
ALL Vehicles must have a valid MICHIGAN PARKS PASS.
The Campground is full! If you would like to camp at an equestrian campground near by, Elba Equestrian Complex is a good choice. 20 minutes North of Hadley Hills.
