We will do a resort Saturday Morning before the start of qualifying and if you are not checked in at that time we will resort racers into other heats in order to eliminate the chance of a racer running in a heat with only a few cars.

Rain-man's Hobby and Raceway is an indoor high bite clay track with a run line for oval usually about 173 to 175 feet. 2 or 3 wire MyLaps transponders are required to work with our system. Super clean Restrooms with showers. RV Camping is allowed without hookups. Live RC will have all info including rounds qualifying and mains.
There will be specialty awards, including a sportsmanship award, earned by the best mannered, most helpful, and respectable racer. Long-haul award bestowed to the racer traveling the furthest distance. Iron Man award this will be given to the racer signed up in the most classes with a tiebreaker of finishing performance. TQ,1st, 2nd, and 3rd for all classes.

6. 13.5 EDM FT :
EDM’s must resemble contemporary full-scale cars racing in “World of Outlaws” and “DIRT” sanctioned events.
Wheelbase: 9.5” min, 11.5" max
Minimum weight = 53 oz.
Maximum width: 10.0”
Must be 2-wheel drive (rear wheel driven only)
Maximum length of complete car: 19.5" Motor:
Any 13.5 ROAR Spec Stock approved motor may be used.
All motors are subject to disassembly at any given time during an event at the race director's discretion.
All stators must have 13.5 winds. Wire and turns are subject to be un-wound and examined for correct wire and turns at any time during the event. Battery:
Any 2 cell hard cased lipo battery may be used.
No additional batteries are allowed, including those used to power receivers or cooling fans.
All batteries will be checked prior to each race to ensure battery voltage is a maximum of 8.44 volts or less. If the battery reads 8.45 or more, you do not race.
No Gyro’s or driving assistance devices will be allowed. ESC:
Any Roar approved, Open timing. Tires:

All Vacuum formed body panels must be pulled from minimum .030" thick Lexan/polycarbonate material. Separate hoods and front body panels may be pulled from .020" Lexan/polycarbonate material
No additional wings, flaps, spoilers, wickers, or vents will be allowed.
The front bumper must be mounted flat and cannot be angled to act as a wing. An additional front body panel is allowed on the front of the car but may not extend forward of the front bumper.

Left Side Panel must be inside a straight line drawn from the outside of both left side wheels/tires and outside of left side of chassis.
Front and rear windows must be removed, and any clear portion is included in max roof length dimension.
Side windows must remain clear
Both sides of body must be at 90 Degrees to the rear of body and or spoiler Door/side panel may have a 90 degree "BEND IN" max 3/8" at bottom for strength
No rear wheel cutouts are allowed on the horizontal plane of the inner. The right and left rear wheel wells must be cut out to appropriate scale dimensions.
Bodies must have at least 1/3 of the right rear tire exposed when viewed from front, top and rear of car.
Must have 2 side panel braces as specified in drawing that must hold side panels at 90 degrees to inner panel both statically and during racing conditions.
Inner panel and spoiler cannot extend beyond rear of side panel
The outer front edge of inner panel cannot extend beyond the front of the door but may taper from that point forward of the door toward the hood at a point no more than 1.5" forward of the door.

9. Dirt Midget Rules:
All height measurements are from bottom of chassis unless otherwise noted.
General - Maximum Overall Length: 16.750". Maximum Chassis width: 4.2" Maximum of 4 shocks can be used. Solid axles are allowed. If solid axles are used the rear axle must be square with centerline of the chassis and parallel to the front axle.
Wheelbase- Min 9.” Max 10.0”
Width- Min 8.5” Max 10.0”
Rear Toe- Only nonadjustable rear arms can be used. Trackside toe adjustable rear hubs and or arms are not allowed. Trackside adjustable wheelbases are not allowed (can’t have toe blocks or anything else attached to an easily adjustable mechanism to allow for wheelbase change trackside). Left rear can be toed in via toe block. Right rear can be toed in but can NOT be toed out.
Offset- Right side of the cage can be no further offset from the outside of the RR tire than 3.625”.
Ballast Weight- Brass, tungsten or steel hubs, arms, arm inserts, caster blocks, steering arms are not allowed. Ballast weight can be attached to the main chassis area is allowed as long as it’s secured properly.
Transmission– 3 gear transmissions only. No DD, 2, 4 or 5 gear transmissions will be allowed. All gears must be full gears. No narrow or lightened gears allowed. Plastic, Aluminum and Steel gears are permitted. Steel outdrives only. Blades are permitted. No gear diffs are allowed. No rear motor cars are allowed unless you can do it in a manner that the tail tank is appropriately sized and located.
Solid Axle Option- If a solid rear axle design is used in it, the motor must be mounted to the chassis cva/cvd must be used to drive the rear axle. No belts or chains will be allowed. A spur gear and pinion must be used in conjunction with the motor plate mounted to the chassis.
CVA/CVD- Dog bones must be equal length. Axles and bones must be made from steel. No aluminum, titanium or magnesium axles or bones allowed.

Dirt Midget Rules:
Battery- 2S hard case lipo
Tires– Tire choice is track/event choice. This class must be on a spec tire and only 1 spec tire is allowed at an event or track. Promotor can choose the tire that works best for their event but must make a choice on only one tire option for this class. If there are multiple compounds of the same style of tire then they can be used. No cutting, grooving or
modifying the size and shape of tire is allowed 2.2 RawSpeed slicks in any compound

10. SUPER STOCK SLASH: (Traxxas based’ Class from Hot Rod Hobbies)
Electronics: Only Traxxas XL-5 ESC part #3018R Paired with Traxxas Titan 12T 550 brushed motor part #3785 ***(no motor tampering allowed. THIS WILL RESULT immediate disqualification).
Traxxas stock 2075 steering servo (no metal gears allowed in servo).
May change receiver to accommodate ‘Non-Traxxas’ Radio.
86-90t oem spur gears must be used. Pinion gear may only be 16t to 23t.
Battery Any (Long) Hard Case 2cell battery* maximum of 5500mah (no shorty packs)
Battery must remain in stock centered location. Moving Battery fore & Aft- OK.
Any full body stock car made for Traxxas slash or SCT Only. (ex: Shark RC /McAllister Rc or Jconcepts).

Must Retain Factory shock locations and battery location front to rear.
Arms must remain in stock and in stock position.
NO ADJUSTABLE REAR ARMS.
NO ALUMINUM PARTS other than shock caps.
Suspension:
Traxxas aluminum shock caps are allowed.
Stock Traxxas 2wd Slash shocks must be used (grey or black versions both allowed).
Front bodies and shafts stay in front - and rear bodies and shafts stay in rear.
Only original Traxxas 2wd Slash springs may be used. Front spring #5857, rear spring #5858.
Transmission case must remain stock. NO plastic internal gear. NO RPM TRANSMISSION CASES
Transmission functionality rule, motor cannot spin while turning slowly one rear wheel a full turn.
Tire Grinding IS allowed; Grooving is not allowed.
Tire sauce is OK.
No taping of tires.

13. Traxxas Modified: (box stock) NOT SPEC SLASH MODIFIED CLASS
Body:
• Any of the 5 pre-painted bodies or clear body may be used (TRA10411). Bodies must remain clipless with stock mounting. Driver figure and rear spoiler must remain stock. Bracing is allowed to support body and aftermarket front nose body hold down is allowed.
Chassis:
• ONLY “BOX STOCK” Traxxas Modified chassis will be allowed.
• No aftermarket parts can be used.
• Transmission case must remain stock. NO plastic internal gear.
• 86 tooth stock spur gear must be used. 22-24 tooth pinion gears are allowed ONLY.
Electronics:
• ONLY “BOX STOCK” Traxxas Modified OEM electronics may be used. Traxxas BL-2S ESC part #3383, Traxxas BL-2S 3300KV brushless motor part #3384 (no motor tampering allowed, any motor modifications will result in immediate disqualification) and Traxxas stock 2075, 2075R or 2075X steering servo.
• Any ROAR legal 2S hard case battery that is 5500mah maximum capacity, any C rating and costs $60 or less. Battery must remain is stock centered location.
• Any radio/receiver may be used.
Traxxas Modified: (Continued)
Adjustments:
• Items you may adjust: Camber, front toe, ride height, shock oil, pistons, shock limiting, shock preload, factory shock locations and battery location front to rear.
• There is no weight rule. Suspension:

GENERAL CHASSIS RULES:
• For turn marshal safety all cars must have a front bumper that is made of a shock absorbing material e.g., Nylon, Delrin, Kydex etc. Front bumpers must be mounted in such a way that they will contact an object prior to any other portion of the car in front impact.
• All cars must have 4-wheel independent suspension. • Single speed transmissions only.
• No gyros or traction control of any kind are allowed including those built into receivers like the Spektrum AVC, etc...
• All power, radio equipment and weights must be in a secure and fixed position and not movable during a race.
*BATTERY TYPE & VOLTAGE:
This year we are allowing 7.4V or 7.6V Lipos in all classes. Voltage will be checked, 8.44 is the MAX. If you go through tech and the battery reads 8.45 or more, you will run the battery down in the car that you are racing to 8.42. The car will not leave the tech area if it does not race that heat or main. Battery Must be a Hard Case 2cell, for all classes.
No additional batteries are allowed, including those used to power receivers or cooling fans.
MOTORS:
**All motors must be ROAR approved and available to the public for purchase. We can tech motors for consistency (stator stack height and resistance for proper wind) if one motor shows a significant difference it will be DQ’ed by the race director’s discretion.
*** Equalizer motor Must be sealed. Hobby Wing & Traxxas Motors - Cannot Change timing, Stator, Rotor or enhance Magnets.
SPEED CONTROLS:
• Modified Classes - Open Speed Control/Open Timing

Just to clear up any confusion on the motor rule for 13.5. It is 13.5 Roar spec stock motors.
This isn’t fixed timing motors. This is being clarified so that it keeps the “13.5 Modified” motors that are also roar legal but not built to the “spec motor” rules out of contention.
