About this Event
Join NUCA of Iowa for the 2026 Trench Safety Stand Down — a FREE industry event dedicated to promoting trench and excavation safety through education, live demonstrations, and collaboration across the underground utility industry.
This year’s event will feature a live mock trench rescue presented by the West Des Moines and Urbandale Fire Departments, hands-on demonstration stations, trench safety experts, vendor exhibits, networking opportunities, and practical safety discussions designed for contractors, field crews, supervisors, municipalities, and industry partners.
Attendees will have the opportunity to:
