This race venue is a unique location outside of Guthrie, OK at Guthrie Lake. This lake is a great location for having a Triathlon. Being a no wake lake makes it off limits to jet ski’s and other water sports. A great place to train for the general Triathlon population in the area.
The swim is in a protected “cove” area which on a windy day keeps the waves to a minimum. Sprint/Super Sprint are single loops while the Olympic/Oly Aquabike will be a multiple loop course. Very spectator friendly!
The bike course for the Olympic/Sprint/Super Sprint/Duathlon offers a great challenge on an asphalt service with wide lanes and shoulder are. All distances will be multiple loops with the exception of the SS which will be an out an back.
