THE SOUTH SHORE’S TOP TASTING & SOCIAL EVENTThe Taste of the South Shore 2026, the signature annual fundraising event for the South Shore YMCA, will be held at the Hale Family Y field house on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:00pm.
For 29 years, The Taste of the South Shore has been the signature fundraiser for the South Shore YMCA and the area’s premier tasting event.
The theme for The Taste of the South Shore 2026 is Helping Kids Grow in Spirit, Mind & Body, honoring the many ways the Y helps shape healthy lives for children in our community. Your participation supports YMCA programs in food security, early education, aquatics, sports, arts, and camp, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, play, thrive, and belong.
This year’s event will embrace the idea of “growth,” incorporating elements from our farms and gardens into the décor while highlighting the impact the Y has across our community. The Y helps children and families grow through programs and membership, while also helping feed our neighbors through our farms, gardens, and the South Shore YMCA Food Pantry.
