Join us for the 2026 STEMM Mentorship Symposium: Advancing the Science & Practice of Mentorship in Biomedical, Behavioral, and Clinical Research.
This one-day event brings together faculty, administrators, clinicians, researchers, trainees, students, and staff from across the STEMM disciplines to explore evidence-based approaches and real-world applications of mentorship.

Featured Speaker
Dr. Sherilynn Black, Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement and Assistant Professor of the Practice of Medical Education at Duke University, will deliver the keynote address.Dr. Black is a leading national figure in faculty development and mentorship. Her research explores how race and difference shape organizational structures in academia, and she co-chairs the National Academies Roundtable on Mentorship, Professional Development, and Well-Being. Her work has been recognized by the NIH, HHMI, AAMC, and Cell Press, among others
