LOCATION & ACCOMMODATION
The ALPCA Lone Star Region is proud to invite ALPCA members throughout Texas and beyond to its 2026 Spring Swap Meet, to be held at the First Baptist Church of Copeville, located at 15947 FM-1778 in Copeville, Texas. Copeville is a small settlement in Collin County, about thirty (30) miles northeast of Dallas. It is on Texas Highway 78 north of Rockwall, between Wylie and Farmersville.
Copeville is out in the country; there are no motels or restaurants nearby. Nearby towns with motels and restaurants are:
• Wylie, about eleven (11) miles to the southwest;
• Rockwall, about thirteen (13) miles to the south;
• Greenville, about twenty-one (21) miles to the northeast;
• McKinney, about twenty-two (22) miles to the northwest.
SCHEDULE & INFORMATION
The doors will open at 8:00 AM Saturday with coffee and doughnuts. The church has a limited number of tables so if possible, bring your own. Those bringing displays need to note that the displays need to be either freestanding or able to lean against the walls. We are not allowed to attach anything to the walls. Lunch will be provided at no cost to meet attendees between 11:30 AM and noon. After lunch, there will be a brief business meeting and awards, followed by a donation auction. Donations are encouraged, either at the meet or beforehand. Those who wish to send donations beforehand can send them to Jim Palmer (#1779), Treasurer. Contact him at [email protected]. Awards will be for Best of Show (for a display of two or more different plates), Best Plate (for a single item or pair) and Long Distance.

DIRECTIONS
The Baptist Church is located on FM-1778 a bit under half a mile east of the intersection of FM-1778 and Business TX-78. There are two churches in Copeville. The first you will see on FM-1778 is the Methodist Church, near the water tower. This is not the site; the meet site is the Baptist Church, which is about a third of a mile further east.
COMING FROM THE SOUTH (WYLIE OR ROCKWALL): If northbound on TX-78 from Wylie, watch for the intersection of Business TX-78 to the right (east) side of the road. This will be about 4.2 miles from where TX-205 coming from Rockwall intersects TX-78 near the town of Lavon. There is a red light at this intersection.
At the red light, turn right (east) onto Business TX-78, then immediately turn left (north) to continue on Business TX-78. Follow this about 1.2 miles to the intersection of FM-1778. Turn right (east) onto FM-1778, cross the railroad tracks and proceed about half a mile to the meet site. The church will be on the left (north) side of FM-1778. Note that the Baptist Church is not the one by the water tower.
COMING FROM THE NORTH (FARMERSVILLE): If southbound on TX-78 coming from Farmersville, watch for the intersection of Business TX-78 to the left (east) side of the road. This will be about five miles from U.S. 380 on the south side of Farmersville.
Turn left onto Business TX-78 and go about 1.2 miles to the intersection of FM-1778. Turn left (east) onto FM-1778, cross the railroad tracks and proceed about half a mile to the meet site. The church will be on the left (north) side of FM-1778. Note that the Baptist Church is not the one by the water tower.
