The 5th annual Cosmic Primordial Light Show is an immersive performance blending live improvised music with mesmerizing liquid light projections. Created and performed by Johnny and Carmen Marcus since 1975, this one-of-a-kind experience invites audiences into a world of color, sound, and spontaneous artistic expression. This year will also feature a cast of special guests that will expand the collaboration and sound word.

“The Cosmic Primordial Light Show uses improvised music on a wide variety of world cultural instruments to accompany the art of liquid light projection, basically using colors dissolved in water to create artistic impressions of liquid flow forms which can be projected on a screen.
These projected forms are felt by many to have a relaxing and inspiring effect on the viewer, and can inspire creativity in musical improvisation, creation of poetry or written word, dance or movement exercises, and a deeper level of thinking or imagining. It therefore can become the vehicle of creating multimedia multidisciplinary artistic experiences or performances where, by breaking down barriers between different forms of creative expression or genres, new and unexpected levels of synergy can emerge.”
