The Annual LCSO Project First Responder Special Needs and Autism Awareness Festival is a family-friendly event for people of all abilities. The Festival was designed to foster awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for individuals with Autism and other special needs. This festival provides an opportunity for families, caregivers, and community members to connect, access resources, and celebrate the unique abilities of all individuals.
Enjoy a day filled with food, music, and animals. You and your family can also listen to music, do arts and crafts, play games, and speak with invaluable resources provided by local businesses, artisans, organizations, and nonprofits serving the special needs community.
Why This Event Matters
According to the CDC, 1 in 36 children is diagnosed with Autism, and countless individuals live with diverse disabilities, including hearing impairments, visual impairments, mental health conditions, and age-related challenges. This festival raises awareness and encourages acceptance, inclusion, and community support for all.
