Join us for the 2026 South Side Soup Contest on February 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM! This beloved, food-focused fundraising event—hosted by South Side Chamber of Commerce and presented by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan, promises a delightful three-hour adventure filled with soup tasting and neighborhood exploration.Nearly two dozen South Side restaurants will showcase their most creative soups, ranging from hearty chowders and rich bisques to flavorful vegetarian options. To highlight our vibrant business community, each restaurant will be paired with one of the South Side’s distinctive shops or retailers, offering attendees a true taste of everything the neighborhood has to offer.
After visiting all host locations and sampling the soups, attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorites via text in the following categories: Best Soup, Best Veggie, Most Unique, and Best Host Location.
