Registration is Required to Attend
This workshop is open to all classifications working in Serra libraries and current library school students. Please obtain supervisor approval before registering.
If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration by emailing [email protected] so we can accommodate others. This conference fills quickly.
What to Expect This Year:
🎤 Keynote Speaker: Adolfo Guzman-Lopez, Author and Reporter
Adolfo Guzman-Lopez is a veteran Southern California public radio reporter for LAist 89.3 (formerly KPCC) who has covered education, arts, and local issues since 2000. A former award-winning journalist, he is also a poet and author known for covering Chicano culture, immigration, and personal stories, including his book California Southern: writing from the road, 1992-2025
🤝 Engaging Sessions & Activities: Inspiring keynote, dynamic flash presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, interactive hands-on learning, meaningful networking opportunities, and outreach exhibits featuring tables from participating library systems.
