Opera House Theatre Company is thrilled to announce auditions for our 41st Season! Join us for an exciting year of bold storytelling, iconic music, and unforgettable performances as we bring the 2026 Season to life.Whether you’re stepping onto our stage for the first time or returning for another season, we can’t wait to see you at auditions.
AUDITION PREPARATION
Auditionees should prepare 16-32 bars of a song (or approximately one minute) in the style of the show(s) for which they are auditioning. An accompanist will be provided.
If you are interested in a specific show/role, we DO encourage you to audition with that material. We will have a folder with specific material available here:

MEAN GIRLS is looking to cast ages 16-30, as it is apart of the OHTC Academy season.
Rehearsal Information
All productions rehearse locally, with rehearsals beginning approximately four weeks prior to each show’s performance dates.
AUDITION DATES
Friday, February 6, 2026
• Auditions for performers 14 & under for only Gypsy, beginning at 6:00 PM
• Individual vocal auditions followed by a group dance call after all performers have sung.
Saturday, February 7, 2026
• Auditions for performers 15 through adult
• 9:00 AM – Individual vocal auditions begin
• 1:00 PM – Dance Call
• Individual vocal auditions will continue as needed between dance calls
• 3:30 PM – Advanced Dance Call

Monday, February 9, 2026

• The Wild Party callbacks begin at 3:00 PM
