Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at Santee Salutes! Join us for a day filled with patriotic pride as we honor this once-in-a-generation milestone. Enjoy classic backyard games, a special 250-themed Patriotic Ceremony, and dance the evening away to a high-energy band.

The celebration culminates in a dazzling fireworks show featuring vibrant red, white, and blue effects and an enhanced grand finale that will light up the sky and your spirit.

This free community event also offers reserved parking and VIP canopy options for purchase, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

With family-friendly fun, delicious food trucks, and unforgettable entertainment, Santee Salutes is the perfect way for all ages to come together and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary!

NOTE: There is no access to the event from the YMCA foodbridge. The bridge and surrounding area is closed during the construction of the Santee Community Center.

FREE SHUTTLES will be available from the Santee Costco parking lot to the event from 3:00 - 11:00pm**. No large equipment will be allowed on the bus (large coolers, wagons, canopies, tents, etc.)

**The shuttles will pause service from 9:00 - 9:30pm during the fireworks show. The last pick up at Coscto will be at 8:30pm.

Info: Parking lots open at 2:00 pm with pre-paid spots only. No free parking available. Plan ahead for a hassle-free arrival! Opt for sustainable travel: park, walk, bike, or carpool! Arrive early to secure your spot for the day-long festivities. Bring your blankets and chairs and settle in for an afternoon of wholesome family fun at #SanteeSalutes! As the day unfolds, the sprawling grounds come alive with laughter and excitement, offering a delightful array of lawn games, live music, and old-fashioned delights for all ages to enjoy. Info: FREE Shuttles are available (no purchase necessary!) Meet at the Santee Costco parking lot for a free bus ride over to the event! No large items will be allowed on the bus (items must fit in the seat with you). FINAL PICK UP to the event will be at 8:30pm - shuttles will resume around 9:30pm, after the fireworks display. To catch the shuttle back to Costco at the end of the event, please meet at the stop sign just outside the park, near Edgemoor Hospital. The FINAL DROP OFF to Costco will leave the event at 10:30pm.

Shuttles will drop off at Town Center Community Park, so plan accordingly. All shuttles drop off at Santee Costco. Make sure you're at the shuttle pickup area, located at the stop sign outside of the park, near Edgmoor Hospital —once that last bus leaves, it's gone!
