The 2026 Roger Newton Memorial Model Show will take place from 10:00am–2:00pm at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum. This special event honors Roger Newton and brings together builders, collectors and fans to celebrate the craftsmanship and passion behind scale model hydroplanes. Modelers of all ages are encouraged to bring their scale hydroplanes, of any size, to display and share with fellow enthusiasts.A limited number of tables will be provided, so participants are encouraged to bring their own table and chair just in case. Lunch will be available for purchase onsite, making it a great opportunity to spend the afternoon surrounded by incredible models and great company. The event will also feature a Best of Scale Award, recognizing the top three scale models for their outstanding detail and workmanship.
The Museum will also be having a "Garage Sale" in the back part of the restoration shop. This will include uniforms, press kits, hats, shirts, buttons, etc. This will be a great opportunity to add treasures to your hydroplane collection!
