Experience the thrill of drag racing in a safe, controlled environment at Road America. Street Legal Drags gives you the opportunity to run your own street-legal car, truck, or motorcycle, down our 330 Ft drag strip on the Front Straight of Road America.
No experience required. Whether it’s your daily driver or your weekend toy, this is your chance to see what it can do.
Run in multiple brackets, compete with friends, or simply enjoy a night at the track.
PRICING:
Pre-Registration Racer Pricing: $10/Race Bracket & discounted $10 General Admission when registered for a bracket.
Drive-Up Racer Registration: $10/Race Bracket & $15 General Admission
Spectator Admission: $15 per spectator. Ages 16 and under are FREE.
Car Show Entry: FREE with General Admission
Event Schedule:
- 5:15PM: Main Gate Opens
- 6:15PM: Mandatory Drivers Meeting
- 6:30PM: Practice or Grudge Runs
- 7:00PM: Brackets Start
- 8:30PM: Shine N’ Show Spectator Judging by Crowd Applause
Shine N’ Show & Premier Parking
The evening will also feature our Shine N’ Show, including premier parking, showcasing some of the best-looking vehicles of the night. Drivers can enter both the Shine N’ Show and a race bracket if they wish.
Entry into the Shine N’ Show is FREE with a general admission ticket.
Judging will take place at 8:30pm with an awards presentation. Top 3 placing cars will get to parade their cars down the drag strip with the winner being decided by crowd applause.

Group 1 ”OPEN” = Anything goes, Heads up start. Please note that vehicles must be Street Legal with Street Legal exhaust systems. ANY slick or street slick will be allowed, but only in this OPEN CLASS

Group 11 – Domestic Performance 550 HP plus = 1980 and newer, 550 HP and up.
