Join us in celebrating 20 years of The Literacy Cooperative at our 10th Annual Read Across America Celebration on April 23, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Cuyahoga Community College’s Jerry Sue Thornton Center. The evening will feature special guest Randell McShepard, Vice President of Public Affairs & Chief Talent Officer at RPM International Inc., in conversation with Dan Moulthrop, CEO of the City Club of Cleveland. You’ll also witness the presentation of the 5th Kurt Karakul Literacy Award. With a gift from the Third Federal Foundation, The Literacy Cooperative created this $20,000 award to annually recognize an organization doing exemplary work to advance literacy in our community.Proceeds from the evening ensure children receive free, monthly, age-appropriate books while adults gain access to the resources, credentials, and skills needed to secure meaningful employment.
