Where:
We will meet at the NEW RBC Brooklyn Half Expo presented by New Balance at the LeFrak Center in Prospect Park at the picnic tables that are located here. The tables are near the EXIT of the Expo, so please allow enough time to walk through the center.
The LeFrak Center at Lakeside is conveniently located near the B, Q, and S lines. Please note that bikes will not be allowed in the tent and a limited availability of public bike racks will be available at these locations: 1, 2.
About plogging:
Plogging refers to the act of picking up trash while running. The expression stems from the Swedish term "plocka upp" meaning "to pick up" and is combined with the English term "jogging". This activity will introduce new movements into your run while helping clean up our planet. It's perfect to do as a pre-race shakeout!
No plogging experience is required, and runners of all paces are welcome. NYRR will provide compostable bags and gloves to all registered ploggers.
Restrooms will be provided. There will be no bag check.
We will be plogging rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.
